How The Irish Van Found Its Way

he Irish Van began in 2018 with a simple idea: to bring the Irish food we loved to Australia, served straight from our very own food truck.

When 2020 brought unexpected challenges, we made the difficult decision to step away from the road. But The Irish Van was never truly forgotten.

In March 2026, we asked our community one simple question: should The Irish Van make a comeback? The overwhelming response set us on a new journey.

What began as a search for authentic Irish products led us to The Irish Butcher, and a partnership that has taken The Irish Van beyond the food truck.

Today, we're bringing quality Irish butcher products to customers across Queensland and beyond, while preparing to open our very first café on the Gold Coast.

The truck may be part of our history, but The Irish Van's story is far from over.
